Fortnite V.7.20 Content Update & Patch Fixes

A comprehensive guide...

The unstoppable MMO juggernaut that is Fortnite continues to grow day by day, and with regular patch updates being drip-fed to its frenzied fanbase at a monthly rate, play-numbers are not about to dwindle any time soon. That said, the V.7.20 Content Update comes with all-new game modes, quality of life improvements and performance fixes. Below, is the essential bare-bones intel.

Sneaky Snowman

First up, we have Sneaky Snowman. A refreshingly fun attire that acts as a shield during combat. What’s more, the costume can be activated using secondary fire and has a maximum of 100 health points. Should your frenemies decide to give you the cold shoulder and open-fire, the frosty decoy will smash to smithereens once the health bar depletes, so use it wisely. Furthermore, there is no restriction on movement. The only caveat being, players, cannot access inventory items or build while in fancy-dress mode.

Sniper shootout: A limited Time Mode

Secondly, we have Sniper Shootout. A limited-time battle-royale mode which prohibits all other weapons besides Scoped guns. Additionally, those that wish to adopt a stealthy approach can do so with newly added suppressor systems. If that wasn’t enough, legendary hand-guns with scoped sights now drop at supply lines.

The rules and regulations are as follows: Reviving downed squad members has been disabled, and there is a 50% slash to Floor Loot Spawn rate.

Frostnite Weekly Challenge 4 – Cold Chaos

Finally, we have Cold Chaos, a new game mode that grants a host of healthy rewards, should you live to tell the tale. Mainly though, the aim of the game is simple. To be the last team standing. A task that’s made doubly difficult by the inclusion of enemy modifiers activated when the opposing team takes damage.

Should you emerge as the victor of the spoils, the Guardian Will Sword is unlocked, which inflicts mass damage. Also, the leap attack, a double-strength move hits targeted enemies and deals hit points to nearby foes caught in the blast radius. In the improbable event that you survive this mode on three separate instances, you’ll obtain the banner.

That’s it for our Fortnite wrap-up. Stay tuned for all things Fortnite in the weeks and months ahead. What would you like to see in the next update? Write in with your suggestions.
